- How quickly will my resume be updated?
The turnaround time is tight. You'll be asked for a copy of your most recent resume once you schedule an appointment, and it will be reviewed as soon as it arrives. Your new resume will be completed and sent back to you within 1-2 business days, but if you are in a rush, your deadlines can absolutely be met!
- How does the consulting session work?
As soon as you book a consulting session, you'll receive an email requesting a copy of your most recent resume, which will be reviewed immediately. You'll be contacted with a list of questions to consider in preparation for your session as well as the invitation to your personal GoToMeeting appointment. On the day of your session, we'll team up via GoToMeeting to learn about your experience and career goals, and walk through resume writing exercises together. At the end of our one-hour consultation, the information you provided will be used to craft a standout resume! You can expect a new resume (in DOCX and PDF form) as well as an analysis document which explains the Resume Buffalo resume writing process within 1-2 business days.
- Did you say GoToMeeting? With web cams and everything?
Yes! But being camera shy is okay, you don't have to turn on your web cam. And if you don't have a computer? That isn't problem either! You can use the call-in number provided by GoToMeeting. If you've never used GoToMeeting it is super easy and can be installed quickly on any computer.
- What if I miss my appointment?
Life happens. If you can't make your scheduled appointment, email your availability and another opening will be created just for you.
- I don't think I'm ready for one-on-one help, what else do you offer?
Great question! You can take advantage of an email analysis or join a weekly webinar for tips and advice on best practices, and to better understand the type of analysis provided for resumes of all shapes and sizes!
